C. Eleanor (Day) Mercer, 90, of Sykesville, Maryland, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2025, at Fairhaven in Sykesville. Born on August 20, 1934, she was the daughter of Clara W. and Robert E. Day. Eleanor graduated from Sykesville High School in 1952 and married Edwin Howard Mercer, who predeceased her in 2002. She was deeply involved in her church and local community. Eleanor was a loving mother to Rachel E. Mercer and Nancy M. Boguski, and a proud grandmother to Heather Phillips and Samuel Boguski. She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for her family.
