Carroll County Kids Summer Camps 2026

These listings include organizations which responded to an inquiry by the publication deadline. This list does not represent referrals or recommendations. It is compiled for informational purposes only. Please check with the organizations listed for more information, as camp details may change after press time.

ABC Care

June 15–August 21 at Piney Run Park in Eldersburg; Deer Park United Methodist Church in Westminster. Summer camps for kids ages 5–13 are available, with a Counselor in Training (CIT) program for rising ninth graders through age 15. Camps run 7 a.m.–6 p.m. with weekly themed activities and adventures.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Carroll County – Summer Fun Camp

Weekly from June through August at Boys and Girls Club of Carroll County. The weekly camp for ages 6–13 will occur with field trips, arts, sports, STEM, leadership, and video game competitions. $30 registration fee; $150 per week (lunch and snacks included).

Carroll Community College SUMMER! Kids@Carroll + Teen College

June 22–August 14 at Carroll Community College. This camp offers full-day and half-day sessions with more than 100 camp options spanning arts, science, technology, and more.

Carroll County 4-H Residential Camp

Younger Residential Camp: June 22–25; Older Residential Camp: July 13–17 at Hashawha Environmental Center. Overnight camp with outdoor activities feature hiking, fishing, archery, crafts, outdoor cooking, and daily pool time (weather permitting). Younger residential camp: $300 (ages 8-11); older residential camp: $325 (ages 10-16); open to non-4-H members. Visit University of Maryland website for details.

Carroll County Arts Council Arts Camps

June through August at Carroll Arts Center, Westminster. In-person arts camps, tailored by age group, provide the space to imagine, experiment and grow. Camps are focused on visual arts, theater, literature, and more.

Carroll County Dance Center & Ballet Conservatory

June through July at Carroll County Dance Center. Various camps are offered for children ages 4–12, ranging from half-day pre-ballet programs to full-day immersive dance experiences. Camps include animal- and fantasy-inspired movement and creative play. A comprehensive Summer Dance Camp features multiple styles, costume and scenery projects, and end-of-week performances. Options vary by age, schedule and experience level.

Carroll County Farm Museum

July through August at the Carroll County Farm Museum. Discover several summer camp options for kids in grades 2–6, including $195 weeklong camps (9 a.m.–4 p.m.) with hands-on history and farm-themed programs such as “Farm Camp: Caring for a Community” and the “Living History” camps. Younger children can join “Farm Camp: Little Homesteaders” (pre-K–first grade) for $125. The museum also hosts themed Mini Camps for grades 2–6.

Carroll Indoor Sports Center Camp

June 15–August 28 at Carroll Indoor Sports Center. The weekly sports and activities camp include early and late dropoff and pickup (7:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.), plus hot lunch and afternoon snack. Registration is $200 per camper per week before May 16 and $250 after May 16.

Coppermine 4 Seasons & Coppermine Cascade Park Sports Camps

June through August at Coppermine 4 Seasons, Coppermine Pantherplex, Coppermine Cascade Park and Coppermine Sportsman’s Hall Roller Skating Center. Summer camp options span multiple locations and age groups. Camp options include specialty half- and full-day sports camps in field hockey, volleyball, basketball, soccer, flag football, baseball, pickleball and lacrosse — many with daily swim time. Additional offerings include an eight-week Dance Camp (ages 5–13), age-based day camps at Coppermine Cascade Park for children ages 4–14, a Skate Camp for ages 5–15, and a Jazz Camp for students in grade 6 through college. Full Moon Farm

June 22–26, July 13–17 and August 10–14 at Full Moon Farm. Ages 5 to 12. This horse and farm camp offers daily riding, horse care lessons, crafts, nature hikes and games. Registration through April 30 is $450 per week and $485 per week after April 30.

The Goddard School of Eldersburg

June 15–August 26 at the Goddard School. Open 7 a.m.–6 p.m., Monday through Friday, the camp is available for children who have completed kindergarten through age 12. Activities include field trips, visitor shows, arts and crafts, theme weeks and sports. Snacks are provided; parents provide lunches.

High Ridge Farm

June through August at High Ridge Farm. Horse-focused summer camps offer riding instruction and a Friday family day and horse show. Participants can also take part in a half-day Farm Camp (ages 3 and older) and half-day Pony Camp (ages 4 to 12).

McDaniel College

June through July at McDaniel College. Specialty camps and programs are hosted by various organizations on the McDaniel College campus, including athletics, music, leadership, and pre-college experiences with dates and eligibility varying by program.

Merritt Clubs

June through August at Merritt Clubs. Weekly themed camps include before care (7:30 a.m.–9 a.m.) and aftercare (4-6 p.m.) for pre-K through grade 8. Options include swim-focused camps, sports camps, arts camps, dance camps, cooking and counselors in training (CIT).

North Carroll Community School

June 15–August 14 at North Carroll Community School. A full-day camp (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.) is available for ages 3 1/2 to 11, plus half-day enrichment camps on various topics for students entering grades 1-8 (before and aftercare available at additional cost).

River Valley Ranch (RVR) – Day and Overnight Camps

Weekly from mid-June to mid-August. Weekly day and overnight camps for ages 4–17 are offered on a 500-acre property, with options ranging from day camps to age-based overnight programs.

July through August at Tami Gee’s Studio of Dance. Half- and full-day camp options are available for ages 3 through teens, with classes and workshops, including ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, lyrical, modern, hip-hop, musical theater and ACRO.

Y of Central Maryland – Y Camp in Carroll County

June 22–August 21 at The Y in Westminster (Hill). Co-ed day camps and teen adventure and leadership camps will be available for campers entering pre-kindergarten through grade 10 (options vary by location). Hours are 9 a.m.–4 p.m. (with free extended hours from 7–9 a.m. and 4–6 p.m.).
