Carroll County Public Schools is seeking gift donations from local businesses and community members to recognize the 2026 Carroll County Teacher of the Year.
Requested donations may include gift cards or certificates, event tickets, merchandise, supplies and other items that can be presented as appreciation gifts for the selected teacher.
The Carroll County Teacher of the Year Award is presented annually to an educator who demonstrates excellence in instruction and leadership within their school and the broader community. Teachers are nominated by students, parents, fellow educators and school administrators.
In partnership with the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce, finalists for Teacher of the Year are chosen from recipients of the Chamber’s Outstanding Teacher Awards.
The 2026 Teacher of the Year will be announced during the school system’s annual employee recognition ceremony on Thursday, April 30.
Donations are requested by Wednesday, April 15. Businesses that contribute will be acknowledged on the school system’s website and listed in the program for the recognition ceremony.
School officials expressed appreciation for the continued support of local businesses and community partners who contribute to the success of Carroll County schools, students and staff.
