Catherine Marie Messenger, 98, of Dayton, Maryland, passed away on April 1, 2025, at Elternhaus Assisted Living. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, on May 30, 1926, to Gustave and Anna Rebell, she was the wife of the late George Everett Messenger. Catherine was a dedicated homemaker, mother of six, and a woman of strong faith. She worked at the General Conference of Seventh-Day Adventists and as an Avon Representative. Catherine was known for her kindness, humor, and integrity. She is survived by five children, 20 great-grandchildren, and many loved ones, and was predeceased by her daughter, Mary Thompson.
