Charlene Lavina Dorsey, 63, of Cooksville, Maryland, passed away on February 19, 2026, at R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore. Born in Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Merle Curtis Miles and Treva Elaine Myers Miles and the devoted wife of Charles Franklin Dorsey. A 1981 graduate of Glenelg High School, Charlene later attended Christian Heart Bible College and Seminary, where she became a pastor. She was known for her vibrant spirit, deep faith, and dedication to helping others, running a food bank from her home and serving the community. Charlene loved her family, especially her grandchildren, and enjoyed simple pleasures like crabs, movies, and turquoise jewelry.
