Charlotte Lee Sommer, 84, of Sykesville, passed away on November 13, 2025, at Carroll Hospital. Born March 11, 1941, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of Walter and Martha Ray and the wife of the late Charles A. Sommer. Raised in Catonsville, she graduated from Catonsville High School and earned a degree in Early Childhood Education from Towson State College. Charlotte devoted her career to teaching and directing at Messiah Lutheran Nursery and was an active, lifelong member of Faith Lutheran Church. She enjoyed gardening, baking, and time with family. She is survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchild, and sister.
