Clarence “Dean” Sharp, 89, passed away on December 8, 2025, at his home in Westminster, MD, surrounded by family. Born March 1, 1936, in Grant Town, WV, he was the son of Clarence Eugene and Lillie Alice Sharp. A proud U.S. Army veteran, Dean spent 29 years at JHU Applied Physics Laboratory working on aerospace projects, later designing mobile command centers for Lockheed Martin. A Master Leather Craftsman, he shared his talents generously. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, birdwatching, RC car racing, and time with family. Dean is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ruth; children Cynthia and Jeffrey; sister Norma; five grandchildren; and extended family.
