David Elwood Webster, 85, of Westminster, passed away March 27, 2026, at his daughter’s home. Born in Staunton, VA, he was the husband of the late Mary Webster. A gifted athlete in high school, he was scouted by a Pittsburgh Pirates farm team before serving as a U.S. Army tank driver during the Korean Conflict. He later became a dedicated electrician with Local Union #24 and built his own home. A man of strong faith, he supported mission work in Guatemala. He enjoyed golf, hunting, and travel. He is survived by his children, siblings, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
