Dolores J. “Dolly” Snyder, 95, of Westminster, MD, passed away peacefully at home on July 15, 2025, surrounded by family. Born in Paterson, NJ, on November 6, 1929, she was the daughter of Frank and Irene Cauwels and the beloved wife of the late James C. Snyder. Dolly earned degrees from Houghton and McDaniel College, where she later became the first female vice chair of the Board of Trustees. A dedicated community leader, she supported numerous local organizations and cherished her church, Bible study, and book club. Dolly leaves behind a legacy of faith, generosity, and love for family and community.
