Doris Jean Collins-Turk, 89, of Taneytown, MD, passed away on January 23, 2026, at Sweetbriar Hills Home in Silver Spring. Born April 16, 1936, in Confluence, PA, she was the daughter of John Marshall and Juanita Collins and the devoted wife of the late Leonard Turk. Doris is survived by her daughter Leslie Brown, grandchildren Eric, Douglas, and Lauren, six great-grandchildren, and her brother Jon Collins. A dedicated professional, she worked as an executive secretary and later as a psychiatric nurse for the State of Maryland. Doris cherished family, arts, and crafts. Private services will be held.
