Douglas Edward Shaw, 63, of Glen Rock, Pennsylvania, passed away with his loving wife by his side at BridgingLife in Westminster, Maryland. Born September 26, 1962, in Glendale, West Virginia, he was the son of Earl Shaw, Jr. and Cecelia “Penny” Maguire. Doug proudly served five years in the United States Air Force from 1980 to 1985. A free spirit, he enjoyed traveling and lived in Alaska and the Florida Keys before settling in Pennsylvania with his wife, Joyce Cone, whom he married on September 21, 2018, after reconnecting years after being high school sweethearts. Doug loved music, playing guitar and hand drums, sailing, and spending time with his close-knit family.
