Under the guidance of Dr. Rose Mince, the fourth president of Carroll Community College, the college has solicited wide involvement to develop the framework for a new strategic plan that focuses on opportunities to learn, experience, and earn for students, the internal college community, and external partners, businesses, and agencies.
Mince has placed increased emphasis on professional development and instituted collegewide Discovery Days. She has played an important role in supporting fundraising initiatives through the College Foundation to enhance programs and services, including the installment of a turf field to expand athletics.
Her impressive background and visionary leadership are propelling Carroll Community College forward in its mission to serve its students and community. Mince’s commitment to workforce development and accessibility for all students has launched new programming and pathways to success for individuals of all backgrounds. She is a strong advocate for student transfer and connecting students with experiences that will advance their education and careers.
