Edward Joseph Ditzel, Sr., 98, of Westminster, passed away on April 17, 2025, at BridgingLife Dove House. Born February 7, 1927, in Baltimore, he was the son of Christian and Mary Ditzel and the devoted husband of Catherine Ditzel, who passed in 2023. A U.S. Navy veteran, Edward graduated from Radio and TV Trade School and worked 33 years at Westinghouse before retiring from the Maryland Department of Transit. A dedicated member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church, he enjoyed duck pin bowling and golf. He is survived by four children, ten grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren, leaving behind a legacy of faith and love.
