Eileen Eve Scheffer Uecker, born September 23, 1931, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away leaving a legacy of love, family, and community. The fifth of eight children, she grew up attending St. Andrew’s Catholic Church and school. Eileen married Bud Uecker, sharing a life of adventure, raising four children—Greg, George, Ben, and Monica—and actively volunteering in church and school activities. She earned a BA in Psychology from Bowie State, worked at Singer-Link, and retired to care for Bud. Later, she moved to Delaware, enjoyed quilting, games, and family gatherings, delighting in grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers, and extended family.
