Eleanor Shriver Cassilly, aged 93, passed away on March 11, 2025, in Westminster, Maryland. She was a resident of Fairhaven in Sykesville for 21 years and previously lived in Darien, Connecticut, and Westminster, Maryland. Eleanor Shriver Cassilly was the daughter of the late James McSherry Shriver Sr. and Helen Brogden Shriver. She married J. Stuart Cassilly on June 30, 1962, and they shared 50 years together until his passing. Eleanor had two sisters, Helen Shriver Riley and Madeline Shriver Franklin, and a brother, Benjamin Franklin Shriver. She was also deeply connected to her extended family, including her nieces and nephews. Eleanor was known for her warmth, kindness, and dedication to those she loved.
