What factors impact a woman’s ability to lead?
Leadership isn’t just about titles, it’s about influence, impact, and heart. One of the biggest factors that affects a woman’s ability to lead
is access: access to mentorship, to opportunity, and to belief — in herself.
I’ve come to realize I am not just a hair salon owner, I grow people for a living. What holds many women back isn’t lack of skill, but the lack of someone believing in them and giving them space to fail forward.
That’s why mentorship has become the core of what I do. I see leadership as a responsibility to elevate others, to teach, to support, and to open doors. Another big factor is the narrative society puts on women: we’re often expected to lead like men, when the power of feminine leadership lies in empathy, collaboration, and emotional intelligence. When women are encouraged to lead amazing things happen.
