Elmer “Butch” Leroy Masimore Jr., 80, of Reisterstown, Maryland, passed away at home on December 13, 2025. Born May 12, 1945, to the late Elmer Leroy Masimore Sr. and Alice Virginia Murray, he was the devoted husband of the late Patricia Olive Masimore. A Vietnam Veteran and proud patriot, Butch earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and worked over 30 years for the Baltimore County School System. He loved golf, playing guitar, and supporting charities, and was a faithful member of Solley United Methodist Church. He is survived by his children Duane Masimore and Patricia Masimore-Gillen, their families, and many friends, including special friend Arlene Metheny.
