Eugene Hamilton Gill, Jr., 74, of Taneytown, Maryland, passed away December 14, 2025. Born September 4, 1951, in Baltimore, he was the son of Eugene Hamilton Gill, Sr. and Virginia Haines Gill, and the devoted husband of Linda Gill for 43 years. Eugene proudly served in the United States Air Force and Army before joining the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office as a Deputy Sheriff in 1982, serving over two decades. A man of faith, he enjoyed hunting and target shooting. His greatest joy was his family, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, and sister Marsha.
