Art Exhibition at The Carroll County Arts Council

Art Exhibition: Witness to Transformation is a collaborative exhibition presented by the Carroll County Arts Council and the Historical Society of Carroll County as part of the Maryland 250 commemoration, featuring the work of Carroll County artist Ruth Aukerman in the Community Gallery. The exhibition explores the idea of “revolution” not only as a historical force during the Revolutionary era, but also as a broader concept representing turning points, renewal, creativity, and transformation in technology, culture, personal growth, and community life. Through this lens, the artists reflect on universal themes of progress, change, and resilience that connect the past to the present. An opening reception will be held on Thursday, January 22, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm and is free and open to the public, with lite fare, the opportunity to meet the artists, and artwork appropriate for all ages.
