Best Selling Author Wade Rouse at Carroll County Public Library
Wade Rouse is an internationally bestselling author of thirteen books, translated into twenty languages and recognized as Today Show Must-Reads, Indie Next Picks, and Michigan Notable Books. He writes fiction under his grandmother’s name, Viola Shipman, honoring the working-poor Ozarks woman whose life and legacy continue to inspire his work. Rouse divides his time between Michigan and California and hosts Wine & Words with Wade, a weekly literary happy hour, every Thursday.
His latest book, That’s What Friends Are For, is a poignant and laugh-out-loud tribute inspired by the beloved TV sitcom The Golden Girls. Through wit and warmth, Rouse celebrates love, aging, chosen family, and the art of perfectly timed one-liners. Presented by Carroll County Public Library and Park Books on Main, this author talk will include book sales and a signing. Registration is required.
