Leading Ladies Summit
Women Optimizing Women (WOW), in partnership with Sunday Morning at Savannah’s, will host the inaugural Leading Ladies Summit on Thursday, August 13, 2026, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the historic Sunday Morning at Savannah’s in New Windsor, Maryland. Designed for working professionals, entrepreneurs, business owners, caregivers, and women seeking personal and professional growth, the all-day event offers a refreshing alternative to the traditional conference experience.
The summit is designed to inspire, restore, and cultivate meaningful relationships by encouraging women to step away from the demands of everyday life and invest in themselves. Set within the beautifully restored 200-year-old manor and scenic grounds of Sunday Morning at Savannah’s, attendees will enjoy a thoughtfully curated day focused on leadership, wellness, creativity, and authentic connection. Rather than gathering in large lecture halls, participants will engage in intimate indoor and outdoor spaces that foster genuine conversation, collaboration, and shared experiences.
The event will feature a keynote presentation by nationally recognized leadership development speaker Dr. Lori Schwartz Reichl, live acoustic music by singer-songwriter Lauren Hill, chef-prepared breakfast and lunch, refreshments, raffle prizes, and the **Leading Ladies Marketplace**, showcasing local businesses and artisans.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to customize their experience by participating in a variety of interactive breakout sessions, including Power Bowl Preparation, Mindful Self-Care & Natural Remedies, Floral Arranging, An Introduction to Reiki, Kindness Through Creative Sign Painting, and Yoga & Meditation.
Founded in 2011 by Barbara E. Ringrose, Women Optimizing Women has spent more than a decade creating opportunities for women to encourage, empower, and elevate one another. The Leading Ladies Summit expands on that mission by bringing together women from across the region for a day centered on leadership, wellness, inspiration, and community.
