McDaniel College Homecoming 2026

McDaniel College will celebrate Homecoming on the Hill Friday, Oct. 2, through Saturday, Oct. 3, 2026, bringing alumni, students, families and friends together for a weekend of traditions, athletics and community. The festivities begin Friday with a fall art exhibition at Rice Gallery, a Greek Alumni Mixer and the McDaniel College Athletics Hall of Fame Celebration from 6 to 9 p.m. at Baker Memorial Chapel. The Hall of Fame celebration will honor six new inductees for their athletic achievements.

Saturday’s schedule features a variety of alumni gatherings, athletic events and tailgating activities. Visitors can stop by the Alumni Tailgate Tent for giveaways, food, beverages, children’s activities and McDaniel merchandise. Alumni and former student-athletes can also participate in a variety of games and reunions throughout the day, including baseball, softball, lacrosse, volleyball and swimming events.

Additional Saturday activities include the Alumni Coalition for Belonging & Impact’s fifth annual brunch, featured alumni tailgates, a Memorial Bell Ringing Ceremony and pregame festivities. The main Homecoming football game will begin at 1 p.m. at Rembert Field at Gill Stadium, where the Green Terror will face Carnegie Mellon. The Athletics Hall of Fame inductees will also be recognized at halftime. Other home athletic contests scheduled for Saturday include women’s soccer against Swarthmore at noon, men’s soccer against Swarthmore at 3 p.m. and field hockey against Haverford at 5 p.m. Homecoming activities are open to members of the McDaniel community, with registration required for some events. Parking in the stadium lot is $20 per vehicle, while other campus parking is free.
