My First Maryland Nutcracker: A Ballet Adventure for All Ages

Ballet Embody, Carroll County’s own professional ballet company, invites families to experience My First Maryland Nutcracker: A Ballet Adventure for All Ages — a festive, 50-minute performance that reimagines Tchaikovsky’s timeless ballet with a distinctly Maryland flair.
Designed especially for young audiences (ages 6 and under) and their families, this lively production captures the wonder of The Nutcracker in a playful, bite-sized performance sprinkled with Old Bay spirit and hometown pride. Tickets are $22 for adults and $10 for children and teens (ages 17 & under) — a perfect opportunity to introduce little ones to the magic of live ballet without the length or formality of a traditional production.
After the show, families can take part in a $5 Group Photo-Op and Meet-and-Greet with the stars of the performance. Ticket holders will be welcomed onstage to meet their favorite Maryland Nutcracker characters and snap photos. Volunteers will be available to assist, though a professional photographer will not be provided.
