YMCA Turkey Trot Charity 5K

Kick off your Thanksgiving morning at the Y Turkey Trot Charity 5K, the biggest, happiest, and healthiest Thanksgiving tradition in central Maryland. With six race locations across the region, the event welcomes participants of all ages and abilities—from first-time runners and casual walkers to seasoned athletes, and even family pets. It’s a morning of healthy fun for your family that helps provide food and financial assistance for families in need throughout the community.

Each participant will receive an exclusive Turkey Trot shirt, chipped timing for adults and youth, awards, special savings on Y memberships, and plenty of feel-good holiday spirit. The race begins at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 27, 2025, offering an energetic and meaningful way to start Thanksgiving Day.
