Frances “Joyce” Hopkins, 89, of Eldersburg, Maryland, passed away January 12, 2026, following a brief illness. Born August 17, 1936, in Tazewell, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Reuben and Jane Helton and the beloved wife of the late William E. Hopkins. A valedictorian and lifelong learner, Joyce devoted more than 40 years to her family business and over 60 years to church music ministry as a pianist and teacher. Deeply rooted in faith, she lived a life of service, love, and devotion to family, leaving a lasting legacy through her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
