Francis Dorsey Ross, 90, of Littlestown, PA, passed away peacefully at home on August 23, 2025, surrounded by family. Born August 22, 1935, in Howard County, MD, he was the son of the late Maurice and Marjorie Ross and the beloved husband of Theresa Ross for 48 years. A Sykesville High School graduate, he served as a medic in the Army, earning a Medal of Honor, and later worked over 40 years at Springfield Hospital. Known for his kind heart and love of nature, music, photography, and family, he was cherished by many and lovingly nicknamed “St. Francis” by his children.
