Gerald “Jerry” Harper, 78, of Lake Orion, MI, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2025, at BridgingLife’s Dove House in Westminster, MD. Born December 5, 1946, in Baltimore, he grew up in Dundalk and was passionate about sports, playing in the YMCA football league and participating in the annual Steel Bowl. A Calvert Hall graduate, Jerry later served as a U.S. Army officer, including deployments to South Korea and Vietnam, completing 22 years of military service. He held management roles at Strohs Brewery and Akzo Nobel, enjoying extensive international travel. He is survived by his daughter Michelle, brother William, and grandchildren.
