James Franklin “Jim” Brewer, 84, of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, passed away on March 14, 2026, after a long battle with lung disease. Born in western Pennsylvania, he was the son of a coal miner and grew up in a large family. Jim married Virginia “Vicki” Brewer in 1965, building a Christ-centered life together. He worked in plumbing, at the National Security Agency for over 25 years, and earned a degree in Construction Management at age 52. Devoted to family, faith, and community, he loved gardening, woodworking, and helping others. Jim is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, and extended family.
