Janet Elaine (Wolfe) Hood, 84, of Westminster, formerly of Sykesville, passed away January 8, 2026, at BridgingLife Hospice at Sinai Hospital. Born July 20, 1941, in New Windsor, she was the daughter of the late Wilbur and Gladys Wolfe. A 1959 graduate of New Windsor High School, Janet worked as a pharmacy technician for Reads and Rite Aid until retiring. She was an active member of Meadow Branch Church of the Brethren, volunteering faithfully. Janet enjoyed sewing, gardening, and making cards. She was the devoted wife of the late Donald E. Hood, loving mother, cherished grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, remembered for her quiet service and kindness.
