Janet Lee Mathias, 82, of Finksburg, died Jan. 28, 2026, at her home. A lifelong Finksburg resident, she graduated from Westminster High School and retired from the Social Security Administration. Janet was a devoted and active member of Sandy Mount United Methodist Church, known for her outreach work and willingness to help others. She enjoyed bird watching, gardening, crafting, and cheering for the Ravens and Orioles. She is survived by her son, Matthew, four grandchildren, extended family, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband and brother.
