Jeanie E. Shifflett, 84, of Taneytown, Maryland, passed away peacefully on December 12, 2025. Born September 5, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Cherie Granger and the devoted wife of the late George Minor Shifflett. Jeanie worked for many years as a seamstress and was a faithful member of Bethel Assembly of God. She was active in local senior centers and was named Carroll County Volunteer of the Year in 1994 for her work with Pets on Wheels. She cherished her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and enjoyed cards, gardening, and her pets.
