Jerry David Buckley, Sr., 86, of Harney, Maryland, passed away peacefully at home on February 24, 2026. Born July 26, 1939, in Finksburg, Maryland, he was the son of the late Grace and Maurice Buckley and was raised on his family’s farm near Taneytown. A graduate of Taneytown High School, Jerry served in the United States Army and Army Reserves during the Vietnam era, including service in Germany. He worked many years as a factory worker and sewing machine mechanic. Jerry enjoyed tractors, car shows, camping, boating, and time with family. He is survived by his wife, Barbara, and loved ones.
