JoAnn DeVito Stewart, 82, of Finksburg, MD, passed away on August 4, 2025, at home. Born June 26, 1943, in Atlantic City, NJ, she was the daughter of George and Nellie DeVito and wife of the late Donald Frank Stewart. JoAnn earned her degree from the University of Maryland and worked as a teacher, stay-at-home mom, and later as a mortgage underwriter. A proud member of Beta Sigma Phi, she formed lifelong friendships. JoAnn was known for her love of Christmas, turning her home into a festive wonderland. She is survived by her children, stepdaughter, grandchildren, sister, and extended family.
