John Alfred Meadows, 76, of Mt. Airy, Maryland, passed away at home on January 2, 2026. Born June 12, 1949, in Olney, he was the son of James Roy Runion and Mary Elizabeth Meadows and the husband of the late Edna Mae Trout. John worked for many years as a dairy manager with Safeway. He enjoyed hunting, playing poker, visiting the casino, and spending time with his family, whom he loved deeply. He is survived by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings, and extended family. John will be remembered for his dedication to his family and his warm, generous spirit.
