John B. McBride, 79, of Woodbine, MD, passed away on September 14, 2025, at Frederick Health Hospital. Born October 11, 1945, in Bethesda, he was the son of the late John and Marion McBride and husband of the late Midge C. Boteler McBride. John was active in the Widows and Widowers of Howard County, 50’s Plus Travel Group, and Mt. Airy Senior Center. He enjoyed bowling, yard work, woodworking, and outings with his dog, Angel. A lifelong Washington Commanders fan, he was loved by many. He is survived by stepchildren, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and was predeceased by his brother, Joseph.
