John David Bowman IV, 78, of Westminster, passed away on October 17, 2025, at Sunflower Hill Assisted Living. Born January 21, 1947, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late John David Bowman III and Ida Margaret Bowman. A Towson University graduate, John worked as an industrial engineer for Penguin Random House for 34 years before becoming a truck driver for Southern States. A devoted family man, he cherished time with his daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. John loved golf, softball, bowling, and cheering for the Ravens and Orioles. He will be remembered for his humor, dedication, and love of family and friends.
