John Wayne Fisher, 80, of Hillsville, VA, formerly of Carroll County, MD, passed away peacefully at BridgingLife’s Dove House in Westminster. Born March 12, 1945, to Jerome Thomas and Mary Catherine Fisher, he was predeceased by his beloved wife, Della West Fisher. A Westminster High graduate, John worked as a master plumber before a long career as maintenance foreman at Chesapeake Finished Metals in Elkridge. He and Della shared a love of horses and trail riding. John cherished time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by daughter Dawn McDonald, grandchildren, great-granddaughter, and many nieces and nephews.
