Judith Mae Faecher, born July 23, 1936, in Youngstown, Ohio, passed away after a life marked by academic achievement and social activism. A graduate of Ohio State University and the University of Miami, Judy earned degrees in French and later in soil science. She married Howard Faecher after meeting him on a Florida beach. Together, they lived in various locations, including Japan, before settling in Baltimore. Judy was an advocate for womenโs rights, environmental causes, and civil rights, working with the League of Women Voters. She is survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her sister and brother.
