Karen Ann Grimm, 66, of Mt. Airy, Maryland, passed away on January 19, 2026, at Carroll County Hospital in Westminster. Born April 3, 1959, in Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of Thomas C. Hammett and Virginia Ingram and the beloved wife of Charles “Buckey” Grimm. Affectionately known as “Grammy,” she was a devoted homemaker who loved gardening, antiquing, collecting knick-knacks, and classic mystery movies. Karen was a generous volunteer with organizations such as Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts and was always ready to help others. She is survived by her husband, children, grandchildren, and brother, and was preceded in death by her daughter, Cheryl Lynn Grimm.
