Lillian “Joyce” Koons, 91, of Westminster, passed away on August 17, 2025, at home. Born August 8, 1934, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of Lester and Ada Burnett and the devoted wife of Theodore R. Koons, Jr. for 70 years. A 1953 Eastern High School graduate, Joyce worked in finance before becoming a dedicated homemaker. She later held part-time jobs and was active in her church, St. Paul’s U.C.C., where she taught Sunday school and served on committees. She loved traveling and spending time with family. She is survived by her husband, children, grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.
