Linda Kay Portner, born December 19, 1950, passed away on October 2, 2025. She is survived by her beloved husband, Richard C. Portner Jr., daughter Hillary Anne Herrmann, son-in-law John Oliver Herrmann, and grandchildren John Everett and Henry Richard Herrmann. A native of Hollywood, CA, Linda graduated from Marlborough School and the University of Washington, earning both her undergraduate and MBA degrees with honors. A passionate businesswoman, she held roles at several major companies, including Ernst & Young, where she became a partner. Linda retired at 60, later settling in Maryland to be close to her family and grandchildren.
