Mary Leah Carroll, 84, of Sykesville, MD, passed away peacefully on September 13, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. Born June 29, 1941, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Bawroski and the devoted wife of the late William Edward Carroll. Leah worked in the Admissions Office at UMBC for 30 years before retiring. A breast cancer survivor of over 20 years, she cherished time with her family, playing games and making memories. She is survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who were the greatest joys of her life.
