McDaniel Women’s Leadership Network
The McDaniel Women’s Leadership Network comprises alums and friends of McDaniel College who are working to build connections and develop programs to attract and engage students and alumni with the college. The network is guided by four pillars, including mentorship, community, career, and philanthropy.
How has McDaniel been recognized for elevating women?
McDaniel continues to be recognized on the Executive Alliance’s Honor Roll among colleges and universities in Maryland with the most representation by women on their boards and executive leadership teams and has also been honored with the Empowering Women Award by The Daily Record. McDaniel also supports women leaders in Carroll County through the Carroll County Women’s Conference, which is sponsored by the McDaniel Women’s Leadership Network.
Additionally, McDaniel College President Julia Jasken is consistently honored as a higher education leader in Maryland. She is a two-time winner of The Daily Record’s Maryland’s Top 100 and was also a recipient of The Baltimore Sun’s Women to Watch and Baltimore Business Journal’s Enterprising Women of Excellence award. She received the Distinguished Women Award by the Girl Scouts of Central Maryland in 2024.
