Melvin Wayne Amoss, 74, of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on February 12, 2026. Born in Fairbanks, Alaska, Wayne lived a life grounded in faith, hard work, and devotion to family. A proud United States Army Vietnam-era veteran, he spent more than 50 years as a long-haul truck driver, earning the nickname “human GPS.” He loved the outdoors and camping with family. Wayne will be remembered for his steady presence, kind heart, and unwavering love for his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family.
