Back in 1980 Tom Mudgett Sr. had a vision. Nearly four decades later that vision remains strong. Mudgett’s Auto Body is about to celebrate their 41st year in business. “You Bend ‘Em, We Mend ‘Em” is their slogan and providing quality repairs in a timely manner is what they do.
2020 was a wonderful year as they won Carroll’s Best Body Shop for the 6th year in a row. Everyone who works at Mudgett’s lives in the County and over 70% of their technicians are graduates of the Carroll Career and Technology Center.
Working in and with the County is something Tom takes pride in. He even gives a car away to a deserving military veteran every summer. The whole family is also very active in the community. Members work on the board at the Tech Center and the business school at Carroll Community College. They also are active members of the Chamber of Commerce where they sit on the Legislative Committee.
