Paul Ernest Purvis, 90, of New Windsor, MD, passed away on October 25, 2025, at home surrounded by loved ones. Born October 16, 1935, in Reidsville, NC, he was the son of the late John Claude and Rachel Mae Purvis and husband of the late Evelyn Jean Purvis. An Army veteran and radio operator at Fort Meade, Paul spent his career as a founding employee and manager at H.R. Simon Company. He loved family time, nature, music, art shows, and motorcycles. Survived by children Shirley and John Purvis, and many dear family and friends, Paul will be remembered for his intelligence, warmth, and adventurous spirit.
