Phillip Ray Hammond, 68, of Westminster, MD, passed away on October 2, 2025, at BridgingLife–Dove House. Born October 28, 1956, in Frederick, he was the son of the late Murton and Thelma Hammond. Phil worked as a maintenance technician at Westminster Greens Apartments and was known for his handyman skills and sense of humor. He loved watching sci-fi and war shows in his free time. He is survived by his loving wife, Valerie Hammond, stepchildren, siblings, and many extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by several siblings and his nephew, Darren Jones.
