Rev. Fr. Timothy Stewart Barkley passed away peacefully on April 6, 2026, at home surrounded by his family. Born in Berlin, Germany, and raised in Columbia, Maryland, he was a devoted husband, father, priest, and attorney. For over 30 years, Tim served the Mount Airy community as a lawyer before answering a later calling to the Orthodox priesthood. He and his wife, Ann, shared 36 years of marriage and raised five children together. Known for his deep faith, wisdom, and selfless service, Tim touched countless lives. He is lovingly remembered by his family, friends, parish, and all who were blessed to know him.
