Ricardo Diezmo Talento, 94, of Ellicott City, MD, passed away Feb. 1, 2026. Born May 7, 1931, in Capalonga, Philippines, he was one of ten children of Bernardo and Felipa Talento. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, he was predeceased by his wife of 67 years, Belen, and several family members. Ricardo served in the Philippine military before moving to the U.S. in 1963, earning a bachelor’s in business administration from the University of Maryland and serving 25 years in the U.S. Navy, retiring as a chief petty officer. He is survived by four children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family. He will be remembered for his love of family, gardening, and wise counsel.
