Rodney Lee Goetz, 72, of Sykesville, Maryland, passed away on February 14, 2026. Born December 25, 1953, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late David H. Goetz and Nellie Arlene Boyer Goetz. Rodney is survived by his wife of 46 years, Mary Anne; sons Daniel and Gary; three grandchildren; his brother David; nieces, nephews, and extended family. A Duquesne University and Penn Technical graduate, he served in the United States Air Force as a trumpet specialist and retired from the Department of Defense. Rodney loved fishing, tinkering, family time, humor, and was a member of Grace Lutheran Church.
